Shamadans & Trays

Shamadan is a charming traditional prop, commonly used in celebration throughout the Middle East.

It is especially popular at weddings where the belly dancer balances the Shamadan on her head to light the way for wedding party in a procession called the ‘Zeffa’. Today they are often used for solo dancing as well.

Our Shamadan and trays are made from skilled Egyptian artisans, entirely embellished  and handcrafted  from our designer, with the use of  precious crystals and beads ,featuring a gleaming gold or silver finish.
